Revolutionary Road Movie Review

Eric Melin and J.D. Warnock from Scene-Stealers are reunited in a moment so big it could only be eclipsed by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet's first pairing since the record-breaking run of "Titanic" all those years ago. "Revolutionary Road" was directed by Winslet's husband Sam Mendes ("American Beauty") and adapted from the novel by Richard Yates. A depressing study of an unhappy married couple who feel trapped in the suburbs, it's about as far away from "Titanic" as you can get. See what Eric and J.D. thought of "Revolutionary Road" in this on-camera video review.

Curious Case of Benjamin Button Movie Review

Eric Melin from Scene-Stealers.com and guest critic Trevan McGee from inkkc.com battle it out over "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," a big Oscar prestige film starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett, adapted from the F. Scott Fitzgerald short story, and directed by David Fincher. Will it be the big contender for Best Picture at the Academy Awards that everyone predicts it will be or is it an overly long snorefest? One of our critics definitely has the latter opinion. Check out the instant on-camera review for "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."

The Wrestler Movie Review

Scene-Stealers.com critic Eric Melin and guest co-host Whitney Mathews review Mickey Rourke’s comeback role in Darren Aronofsky’s new movie “The Wrestler.” Co-starring Marisa Tomei as the stripper who wins his heart and Evan Rachel Wood as his estranged daughter, “The Wrsetler” is a gripping, realistic walk through some important moments in the life of fictional 1980s professional wrestling icon Randy “The Ram” Robinson. It may not be the WWE (WWF) or ECW, but Aronofsky’s movie is about as hardcore as it gets.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno Movie Review

Eric Melin goes it alone in this, the first-ever, one-man review in the history of Scene-Stealers. Kevin Smith's "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" starring Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks is reviewed by Eric, who has come under fire lately for not having enough of a female perspective. This review features Elizabeth Banks, Katie Morgan, and Traci Lords. The movie also stars Jason Mewes, Jeff Anderson, and Craig Robinson. Find out what all the fuss is about Kevin Smith's "Zack and Miri Make a Porno." Was it really too explicit for some theaters? Is the movie as dirty as its banned movie posters? Did Eric even notice that there was porno-style sex in the movie? Find out in this Scene-Stealers On-Camera Review of "Zack and Miri Make a Porno."

W. Movie Review

Eric Melin and guest co-host Nick Colby (bassist for The Dead Girls) review the new Oliver Stone George W. Bush biopic "W." Many will come away from Oliver Stone's movie feeling sympathetic towards the George W. Bush, who never lived up to poppy Bush's expectations, and that is why the film is so devastating. Josh Brolin is excellent, and has the same natural charm that got Bush elected, and Stone's movie suggests what we've seen is what we get. That's all there is to this president. If "W." feels empty, that's because it reflects the soul of the man whom it is about.

Body of Lies Movie Review

Eric Melin from Scene-Stealers.com and guest co-host Matt Brown have an Instant Review of the new Ridley Scott-directed "Body of Lies," starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe. "Body of Lies" is a mature movie about complicated issues. "Body of Lies" is a well-acted, convincing piece of work. But does it have as much emotional complexity as it has labyrinthine plot histrionics? Watch the Body of Lies Movie review now and find out!

Choke Movie Review

It's only the second book from "Fight Club" author Chuck Palahniuk to be adapted into a movie, but beyond sharing a couple themes with the Brad Pitt-Edward Norton film, it has little in common with it. Eric Melin and guest co-host Trevan McGee (from inkkc.com) review "Choke," starring Sam Rockwell, Anjelica Huston, and Kelly MacDonald directly following a screening of the movie at the Screenland Theater. "Choke" follows a sex addict and historial interpreter who may just be the Messiah. It's another Instant Review from your pals at Scene-Stealers.com!

The Rocker Interview with Jason Sudeikis

Jason Sudeikis (“30 Rock,” “Saturday Night Live”) is so good as the rock band manager in the new movie “The Rocker” that he pretty much steals the show. Being rockers ourselves, we wanted to do something a little different than the normal junket interview while Jason was in town promoting “The Rocker” (starring Rainn Wilson), so we ambushed the comedy star with a homegrown rock n’ roll quiz to see how much of his portrayal was a result of Method acting. As it turns out, this didn’t quite go exactly as planned. This is probably the last time we try to quiz a movie star. Yikes! Maybe we should just stick to the regular junket questions. Anyway, enjoy this very uncomfortable interview with Jason Sudeikis from a dirty hotel room somewhere in Kansas City.

Iron Man Movie Review

Directly after an advance screening of Marvel Comics’ “Iron Man,” starring Robert Downey, Jr., Eric and J.D. give an Instant Review of the movie. Summer is here an the influx of superheroes is just beginning, but “Iron Man” is a cut above the rest. Thanks to a strong lead performane by Robert Downey, Jr., a script that’s actually about something, and director Jon Favreau’s keen eye for comedy, “Iron Man” gets two rock fists up even though it doesn’t use Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man” until the closing credits.
